Marathon Race at Tokyo 2020(Sept.12,2013） A few days ago,Tokyo was selected to become the host city of Olympic 2020. The Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 would be open on July 24 and close at August 9. So the marathon race would be held on August 8.We will be going to see the opening ceremony and closing ceremony with our Japanese marathon friends/runners,because have received the invitation to see the games together with some Japanese friends,and we are very happy to agree to go together. Some of them have already applied and paid to come to run the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014 in Beijing. It is very hot in summer in Japan,we feel it is much hotter than the summer  in China in 2011,2012 and 2013.And on the marathon race day in Tokyo in 2020,the temperature would be about 32 degree centigrade,this predication is from the data in the past 48 years. So the start time of the marathon race  would be after 2PM Japan Time at Tokyo 2020 on August 9,2020. Now,we come back to Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014 in Beijing.The start time is 6AM Beijing Time.On that day,the temperature would be around 23 degree  centigrade at 12.
