First Release: Test Run in Tibet on May 6,2014(November 11,2013) Dear worldwide runners,especially the ultra marathoners and the iron-men runners,here is the greatest news to inform you. The Organizer of Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM) would also held the marathon on the roof of the world in May from 2015.The run will take place around the most beautiful lakes in Tibet,and the attitude there are over 4600 metres above the sea level. We are going to have the test run on May 6,2014.It is just 5 days after the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014. We are going to fly from Beijing to Lhasa on May 2,2014,and all of the test runners would be staying in Lhasa and Yangbajing for getting used to the high attitude there,and sightseeing as similar as the Option 8 of Great Wall of China Marathon 2014 Tours.And all the runners would fly back from Lhasa to Beijing/or other cities in China on May 9,2014. The test run has 5KM,10KM,HALF and Full.We are also going to offer the pioneering medal in Tibet for every runners. Since this is a test run,we will only accept the 25 runners from all over the world.And the application starts from November 12,2013 till March 30,2014.
