100RMB Deposit for Champion Chip(April 16,2014) Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2014 is the only race in China that all the runners would be using the champion chips,even the 5K runners. The champion chip company is the largest one in China which help all the major marathon timing in China ,such as Beijing Marathon and Shanghai Marathon. If you have attended any of the two marathon races in China,you would know that the Organizing Committee would require the runners to pay the 100RMB for the chanpion chip,and when you finish the race,and return the champion chip,you would be given the deposit 100RMB at once. In the past year,the champion chip company always asked for 100RMB/each as the deposit for the champion chips totally.And we paid this deposit to the champion chip company without mentioning this to any runners. And it is a fact that we could not 100% get the champion chips back every year.So this year,during your registration at Shenzhou(Beijing)International Hotel,we will ask you to pay 100RMB in cash as the deposit for the champion chip that we will give to you.The start line and the finish line is at the same place. When you finish the running and come back to the finish line,our staff will help you to take off the champion chip,and return 100RMB cash back to you at once.
