Third Time to Participate GWCM (December 18, 2008) GWCM stands for the Great Wall of China Marathon,which is being discovered and supported and loved by more and more participants from many different countries and regions in the world today! Here we would especially like to introduce our two participants from Japan:One is Ms.Mizoguchi and one is Mr.Saito. One day in February 2007,Ms.Mizoguchi got to know that she still could run marathon on the Great Walls in Beijing while she travel in China. She then submitted the entry to the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2007. After the running,she saw from her own eyes and experienced that all the participants from different countries and regions were treated as VIP in every aspects during the running on the Great Walls. Then without any hesitation,she soon applied to participate the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2008.She became the first ones for the entry together with Mr.Saito. Mr.Saito admitted that he is new to the marathon in the talk with us in Beijing on May 1,2008,but he felt the running on the Great Wall of China Marathon is extremely fascinating and extremely attractive,he discovered the Chinese organizers have done much measures to secure the safe and happy running for all the runners!He found the Great Walls we choose are the most beautiful parts of the Great Walls!He took so many photos during this extraordinary marathon! On May 12,2008,a huge earthquake hit China and thousands of thousands Chinese people were killed in this natural disaster. On the second day,Ms.Mizoguchi made her phone call to our Overseas General Office of Great Wall of China Marathon in Japan and soon made the donation through our office to the Sichuan Provincial Government.
