Our Cooperators Are Increasing(January 23, 2009)
"I am traveling several times a year to China. I am interested in your marathon race, BUT your website does not provide much information other than the application form. Can you provide some information about the course, time limits, and if you provide water on the course."
This is the response we got yesterday from USA, then we soon sent the attachment of the running course map
of Great Wall of China Marathon 2009 to the company and we said:"The time limit is 8 hours.And we provide the water on the way about every 2
km."
Step by step,we move forward steadily every day with all our new cooperators and new
participants. Indeed,we have not publicized more details in our website,because we regret something happened in the past 8 years,
for example,in the very begining, the New York Times contacted us and asked us to provide more info of Great Wall of China Marathon so they could make the
introduction in their sports page,we did,and not long our former
website:http://www.greatwallmarathon.com was hijacked
technically. If you know much about internet and go to search today and you would know who did it and who is now holding the website.
We prefer to forget this with a smile, because more and more overseas clients are realizing and beginning to come to the side of the real Chinese organizers of Great Wall of China Marathon!
Last night, an African company in Beijing expressed their goodwill and strong desire to cooperate with us so they prefer to take more African runners and participants to the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2009!We said Yes to them!
Yes,in the past December and this January,we have been accepting the Japanese,American and Canadian marathon
runners in, they now live in Beijing,Shanghai,Shangdong,Hebei and
Tianjin in Mainland China!A French professional runner is also contacting with us now for the entry!
Nowadays, one of our cooperators is making the promotion at the following cities in Europe,and if you are right in the
cities, please go to apply Great Wall of China Marathon from the company!
1. Stuttgart / Germany, 17.-25.1.
2. Zuerich / Switzerland, 29.1.-1.2.
3. Bruexelles / Beglium, 5.-9.2.
4. Basel / Switzerland, 13-15.2.
Also recently a famous marathon company Dream Travel Canada told
us:!" As we have a contract with the Danish group for 2009 we can not purchase your entries until the 2010 marathon. I will contact you in June of 2009 to purchase tickets for the 2010 Great Wall
Marathon." Yes,in fact, we have been opening our very sincere heart to the world clients and world runners from very beginning!
We should say the largest Japanese travel service KNT is still cooperating with us and they will again send their Japanese participants to the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2009!
Before we finish the news,we want to say that British Prime Minister Gordon Brown have recently said the importance to cooperate with China,we strongly believe in the following few years,the Chinese organizers of Great Wall of China Marathon will have the most clients and runners from all over the world!
