Promise:All Runners and Particioants Will Be Treated As VIP(March 24,2009)                        ---The Previous News--- Dear Mr. David Sampson, First I should say that after reading your email we could feel you are very polite, kind, honest and you also keep the greatest warmth and love towards the Great Wall of China Marathon, so in return, please accept our heart-felt thanks from us all, the completely Chinese organizers and Chinese staff ! All our world participants/runners to Great Wall of China Marathon 2009(May 1)would be best accepted as VIP by us Chinese people with its greatest hospitality and its greatest friendliness! Here are the answer to your questions: 1- Most important question, is it too late to register? ---No,the deadline is on April 15 for the registration! 2 - If not (and hopefully it's not too late!)Should I register using the:Ticket webpage                                                            http://www.greatwallmarathon.com.cn/gwcm2009/ticket.htm             or the other webpage?                                                       http://www.greatwallmarathon.com.cn/application2009.htm ---Both webpage can be used even now, especially the first one about the Participation Ticket! The price of the two webpages is the same 188USD,but the first one can get one hotel stay free on April 30,the day before the running, we do so is because we honestly hope to bring the best convenience for the world runners/participants, because most runners would stay in the hotel and one of our bus would also start from the hotel! You can make the choice by yourself! 3 - Would it be possible to learn a little more about the course (a rough map and or elevation guide would be terrific, but I will take anything of course! :) ) ---In the attachment is the two maps: One id for full marathon and one is for half marathon,10km,5km and 10km walking! We will have the most detail maps for our runners/participants when they come to Beijing for the running! 4 - I'm a little unclear on the hotel situation for April 30th, does that come with the 188USD registration? If not, which hotel should I book at for the race? ---The hotel is Zhongxie Hotel, it is a three-star hotel which is being upgraded for 4-star hotel.188USD also includes the hotel stay on April 30,two persons share a standard hotel room! 5- Thank you! No 5th question, just a thanks for putting on what looks to be a heck of a great and fun race and really hope I can still join you here in just over a month!                                                            ---We promise that the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2009 being organized by Chinese people would be the best one we have ever held!
