An Overseas Chinese to Great Wall of China Marathon 2010 (January 1,2010)　 "I am oversea chinese from Singapore and I had lived in Nanjing from 1985-1991 when my husband was posted there.I have been to the Great wall 3 times but never though of running the wall.I have seen many interesting places in China but I believe it has changed.My 1st son was studying in kindergaten at Hua Tong Gong Xue Yuan, (Nanjing) and my 2nd son, I send him to Xiao Ding Dang(Beijing).Now they are 22 and 18, studying in Singapore University and High School.My 1st son is an iron man and just did his iron man in Switzerland in June 2009 and will be doing his 2nd iron man in Germany this year.My 2nd son, a vollyball player in his high school and just completed his study and will be going to army in Feb.6th. He did the Angkor Wat Marathon 10k with me in 2006 and another 10k in Sweden.(my whole family are into sports).   I am a sprinter for 100m,200m and 400m.I have sprint for the last 40 years always a winner for my age group(Asia Masters Track and Field C/Ship), was in Dalian 2002.In between, I race alot of 10k in Thailand, Malaysia and Norway and my timing was around 52mins to 1.03mins.(my age 53).I have a few Beijing friends who are the China Masters Team.I am sure they will be very happy and surprise if they know that I am coming to Beijing to run the Great Wall of China Marathon."
