Nikos:From London to Beijing (February 22,2010) "I am looking forward to coming over to China and running Great Wall of China Marathon under 3:00 hours." This is a so simple sentence we read from the Online Application submitted to us by Nikos from Great Britain on February 7,2010.We felt so surprised and wondered if Nikos had made a mistake in writing the time. We put his time aside and begin to keep the good exchanges with him,we found that he is one of the strongest world runners and one of the most aspiring world runners we have ever met,and he is also a very good father of two small children. Yesterday he did a 50-mile training run on snow,7 hours 29 minutes 19 seconds,he wrote as followed: "...if anyone was to ask me the hardest training run I had ever done...then my immediate answer would be...yesterday's 50 mile run on snow. ...if I was to say that when I woke up at 5:48, my legs were feeling great I would be lying! ...the first few miles of my 11.6 mile recovery run this morning were not easy...but at the end of the R run and after a big breakfast I feel great and ready for a two hour session on my Tacx trainer this afternoon! ...The whole experience was wonderful, I feel magic....and can't stop running! " More and more people begin to pay the high attention to his way to Beijing.Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM) is the hardest marathon on the Great Walls.We can be very proud to tell the whole world the runners to GWCM are the real heroes. Nikos would make a miracle on May 1,2010 on the Great Walls in Beijing China.
