Darin and Trisha Swanson from Beijing(February 24,2010) From January this year, Darin Swanson and his wife Trisha moved to work in Beijing China from Canada. They have never stopped running as soon as they came to Beijing. January this year was quite cold in Beijing, and it is still not warm in February. With the cold temperatures the Swansons have been doing quite a bit of running on an indoor treadmill at the hotels and now their apartment complex. Darin Swanson and  Trisha Swanson have done some running and exploration of Tuanjiehu Park (http://www.tripadvisor.com/LocalMaps-g294212-d592533-Tuanjiehu_Park-Area.html) and Chaoyang Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beijing_Chaoyang_Park).    Both parks are really nice for running either in the dark or during the day time. They are picturesque even in the winter and should be amazing in the spring. The Swansons    are looking forward to exploring them more as the temperatures continue to warm up.    Trisha has also done a hike out on the Great Wall so she has started getting those legs ready for all those stairs :-) Darin Swanson has already agreed very happily that we would do a documentary about their running life in Beijing some time in March. All our world runners would see a very exciting Beijing in the early Spring through their running footprints.
