Two Marathon on Great Walls(Jan.7,2011)
This morning, we received an
email from Wendy,his whole email:
Hi there,
I'm confused about the date of the great wall of china marathon. On
world calendar events pages the date is 21st May 2011, however your
site says 1st may 2011. Could you please confirm what date the GWCM
is on??? Kind regards, Wendy

Dear Mr.Wendy Millis,
Good morning!Thank you very much for your email.
There are two marathon races on the Great Walls,
One is organized by a Danish travel company on May 21 in Tianjin,and
one is organized by us,Chinese,on Sunday May 1,2011 in Beijing.
The great walls we use are the most beautiful in whole China,
some runners mistakenly use the great walls pictures,use our
pictures to participate that race.

We will have medals and trophy for our world runners and we will use
the Champion chips at Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM) on May
1,2011.
The difficult sections at Great Walls in Beijing we use have been
well paved for runners, very pleasant! I inspected it in December
2010.And it only take 2 hours by bus from downtown Beijing to the
Great Walls because the express way is open in September 2009.
