Aid Stations and Elevation for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2012(September 16,2011) For the Great Wall of China Marathon 2012,the water stations would be set upon in about every 2kilometres along the Great Walls, and 8 water supply stations also set up in the 10km mountain road.  Our base station is set up at the square of START/FINISH, where light food is provided for every runners/participants. The Great Wall management company at Jinshanling will provide the first aids at once if it is needed. And we also provide the shower service by the Great Walls from 10am-16am on May 1,2012 for the runners who finish the race, and the massage is also provided, but the booking in advance is needed. As for the elevation of the route, the lowest point is around 300m and the highest is 570m above the sea level. And next weekend (September 24 and 25,2011),we are going to collect the most detail data and the complete elevation of the course map for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2012 would be released in early October. The course map of Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2012 would be verified a little bit comparing to the course map of Great Wall of China Marathon 2011.But 95% of the map would be the same as last year.
