The National Flags Unseen at Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2012(June 5,2012) We begin to hang up the national flags of all the participants from Great Wall of China Marathon 2011.Last year, participants from 23 countries and regions ran the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2011. This year, because of the very late application by some runners, that the national flags from Ecuador and Belgium were not able to be hung up on the Great Walls. Runners from 32 countries and regions participated the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2012 in Beijing. Runners from Brazil, Switzerland, Venezuela, Denmark, Ecuador and Belgium participated the Great Wall of China Marathon for the first time on May 1,2012. Because some runners in group applied very late, so they had got no champion chips, but ran the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2012.They were mostly from USA and from the Netherlands. It is estimated that the runners at the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2013 would be from around 50 countries and regions.
