FUN RUN 8 added to Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015(November 16,2014) We have been considering one thing for Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015 for more than one year. We can say it now. We have decided to add one new item into Great Wall of China Marathon 2015.That is the Fun Run 8. This is,we would add the relay run or the Ekiden(in Japanese word) into the present items. We accept the run in team,and each team needs to have 8 runners.And each of the runners would run about 5K averagely.And in fact,two of the team members would run 6K.And team members can be male and female. We officially accept the team application from today,and our present Online Application is also adjusted. And we would also present/award a big banner for each of the top three teams.When you apply,you can give us the name of your team. So that is to say,that at the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015,there would be the following items: 5K,10K,10K Walking,Half Marathon,Full Marathon and Fun Run 8.The Chinese name for the new item is 趣跑8.It has the sound meaning and word meaning in Chinese language as let us 8 people to go to run very happily. The application fee remains unchanged,it is still the 250USD per person. In this way,we estimate that the fastest Fun Run 8 team could complete the 42K in about 3 hours 50 minutes to 4 hours. Yes,the time limit is still 10 hours. And our designated bus will send the 8 runners to different location of the Great Walls for the relay race. We suggest that each of the team would select your own team leader,and the team leader could help for the application for your 8 members together,and the team leader is also in charge of the payment together for your 8 team members. Below are our Online Applications for the 14th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015 and the 2nd Roof of the World Marathon starting from May 2,2015,We welcome you to apply one of them or both of them.Both marathon races are the same organizer.
