Two Medals of the Roof of the World Marathon 2015(December 2,2014) Only 5 months from today,all the runners who will run the Roof of the World Marathon 2015 and the runners who will visit Tibet will take the flights from Beijing to Lhasa together. Today,we release the design of the two medals for the Roof of the World Marathon 2015. The first medal is for the Lonely Yak and Half Marathon on May 6,2015.

The front side is the Lonely Yak,which is running at the altitude of 4400m.We will further improve the medal,we just feel the back ground of the lonely yak is simple. The back side is Potala Palace of Dalai Lama,the symbol of Tibet. The second medal is for the half marathon and full marathon on May 8,2015.

The front side are the runners running from the point of altitude 5205m to the very beautiful lake.This is the highest marathon in the world. We go to Tibet on May 2,and separate the two races on the different dates on May 6 and May 8,it is because we need to offer the enough time for runners for the High Altitude Acclimatization in Tibet. The back side is still the Potala Palace,and we add the 5205 in this side. The two medals are the second version of the design.We think this would not be the last version.We release here today for the first time,we hope to listen to your ideas or/and your opinions,so that we can further improve the two medals. As for the medal for the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015,we will release it in March 2015.
