An American in Western China(December 4,2014) On December 3,2014,we received the Online Application from Mr.Robert Fried for running the Great Wall of China Marathon to be held on May 1,2015. Mr.Robert Fried asked whether he should reserve the hotel by himself or by us,the organizer.We told him that we reserve the hotel room for him. Since Mr.Robert Fried would like to run the full marathon,we suggest him to stay at Jinshan Hotel.The reason is that he could get enough rest before the full marathon. Jinshan Hotel is just 15-minute walking to the start line of Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015.And we also told him to choose the types of the standard room from 300RMB,400RMB,and 500RMB.And we told him that if he would like to share the room with another runner,the room fee would only be 50% of any of the above room rate. Mr.Robert Fried then made the payment to our bank account at Bank of China.Yes,for any runners in China,if they deposit the application fee into our bank account,it would be cheaper than the Paypal. Maybe many runners still do not know Alipay,if you would have an account,the transaction fee would be even much cheaper,it would be Zero if you are in China,otherwise it would be around 3 or 4 USD. We are doing our best for our runners every day,and think the most convenient ways for all our runners. Mr.Robert Fried is also one of the kindest American young men who work in China.By joining in the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015,you would be able to get to know many many nice runners from all over the world. We would be happy that if you become one of the new friends of Mr.Robert Fried,whose best result is 3:34 (full marathon) at Montana Governer's Cup Marathon in September 2011. We think that Mr.Fried could finish his full marathon at about 6 hour 30 to 7 hours at the Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015,at least less than 8 hours. Tomorrow afternoon,we will send the official Confirmation Letter to Mr.Robert Fried. Below are our Online Applications for the 14th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2015 and the 2nd Roof of the World Marathon starting from May 2,2015,We welcome you to apply one of them or both of them.Both marathon races are the same organizer.
