If you have ever run the 14th Great Wall of China Marathon on May
1st,2015,you might be familiar that she is the Chinese girl dancing on
the Great Wall on the race day.
If you are the runners who have been paying the attention to the
Official Website of the Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM)to be held
on May 1 every year,you would know that the runners on the Wall last
year has been viewed over 3 million times with more than 3000
comments.
It is the weekend,though we work 24-hour every day including this
Saturday and Sunday,we would like to share this video to all the
world runners as a kind of weekend refreshment!
Then how about the 15th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2016?
The whole marathon on May 1 would give the whole world runners a
very friendly,peaceful and very vigorous atmosphere.
We have been using the Jinshanling Great Wall in the past 14
years,and with the guidance of the government,we move to have the
15th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2016 at Badaling Ancient
Great Wall.
All the runners would be very very lucky to set up your first
footprint on this Great Walls that you could not find on any Chinese
maps and the Google Map.And all the rare info you might find online
is not complete.You would be proud to tell the whole world after
your race.And in our medal already made,we have engraved the name of
the Great Wall--Badaling on the front side.
On the other side,you could see our new slogan RUN THE 5000KM GREAT
WALL,and tonight,when we talked about this with one of our overseas
runners,he laughed and said that it would take him 120 years then to
complete running the Great Wall of China Marathon.He is one of very
very nice runners,and he ran the Great Wall of China Marathon on May
1st last year,and he would run the 15th Great Wall of China Marathon
on May 1,2016.And he even told us that he has become excited and
expect to run the 16th Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1,2017.He
is one of the runners whose names could be found on the Memorial
Wall on the Great Wall this year.
All the runners on May 1,2016 would be very lucky that you would see
the very kind and warm-hearted Chinese volunteers,too.They are
always young,always around the 20 years old.This is the average age
of our volunteers on May 1 in this 15 years.Won't you believe that
our first group of volunteers 15 years ago have already been over 35
years,and our oldest runners in the first year have already over 85
years old!
This year,we would tell all our world runners that something not
harmonious,which can be called the thief of the Great Wall of China
