Medal:Dedicated to all the Heroes to Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn(Sept.30,2016) Yesterday,Mr.Cort Mills paid the application fee to our bank account at Bank of China for participating the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn.Mr.Mills will not just run by himself,his 16-year old son Mr.Copper Mills would run half marathon,too,with him.More than that,his another child and his wife would come together as spectators. We so much admire Mr.Cort Mills,a great father of the children,also a good husband of his wife.He has been making his greatest efforts to challenge the most difficult Great Wall of China Marathon in China. Mr.Cort Mills has been keeping a very good exchanges with us,too.He often could finish the half marathon with his son in about 2 hours at the normal marathon.He knows that the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn on Sunday October 16 at Juyongguan is not a simple one.He booked his transportation leaving Beijing with his whole family in the evening. Well,what's up with the MEDAL?What's up with the word "DEDICATED" and *HEROES"? The medals for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn are being manufactured in the factory.Only 6 members have seen the design of the medal.This is an extraordinary medal,which could be the "heaviest" one in the history of the Great Wall of China Marathon in the past 15 years. In the front face,it is the design of the part of Juyongguan Great Wall with the most stairs,from No.7 Fortress to No.8 Fortress,there are 303 stairs,and there are even 460 stairs from No.9 Fortress to No.10 Fortress.The most stairs we had ever had for our runners between two towers are just around 108 stairs in the past 15 years.This would be your life-long experience with this design on the medal,and it the part of the Great Walls that you could step/run over,so we call it very "heaviest" significantly.
Great Wall of China Marathon 2017 Promotion Video shooting was also made at Juyongguan Great Wall in early September 2016. So all our runners are really the HEROES,or SUPER HEROES.and we whole-heartedly make this special medal DEDICATED to all our runners to Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn on Sunday October 16 at Juyongguan.Maybe you still could not sense and feel about this.But after the race,you would understand what we say here today is very very true for you! As for our family spactators,you can take your time very leisurely and walk to these sections,and you would see the best view of Juyongguan Great Wall.be sure to take your camera with you for the breathtaking landscapes before you! Another family is signing up,too.the father would also take two of his children with him,and the youngest one is less than 3 years old,and the elder child is 7 years old,and his wife would come together to cheer and enjoy the amazing Great Wall.Because he has the youngest child,we have already made our plan to best take care of their family so that they can catch the flight at 7PM leaving Beijing.He is one of the greatest runner,who could be the top three among all the full marathon runners.He usually run a marathon in 3h45,and his last North Face is 9hr30 for 50KM with 3,000 elevation. Recently,we got to know that a Japanese runner who got the fever last weekend finished the full marathon with over 38 degree,he would run the full marathon at the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn. At 18 o'clock Beijing Time today,another Kenyan runner Mr.James Ekiru Nateleng made the payment,the first one is Mr.John Ewoi who made the payment three days ago,they both would fly from USA to Beijing after the Chicago Marathon on October 9,2016 for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2016-Autumn on Sunday October 16 at Juyongguan Great Wall,which would see the marathon runners for the first time in its history. Really,here just named a few!All our runners are so great,and we would do our best for all our runners to complete the race at Juyongguan Great Wall very happily and successfully.
