How
many steps on this section of The Great Wall of China MarathonH
Over the past 17 years, our participants of the Great Wall of China
Marathon have run on 5 different sections of the Great Wall. However
from 2013, we have stressed the distance for the marathon, half
marathon, 10k and 5k courses in kilometers and not by how many steps
because each section of the Great Walls contains a different number
of steps.
The following is some useful data we released in 2016 which will be
used again for the 2018 Great Wall marathon event

The location of the Great Wall section where you will run the course
for the 17th Great Wall of China Marathon 2018 is in West Beijing.
As one of the scenic competition zones for the 2022 Beijing Winter
Olympic, our runners from all over the world will be able to enjoy
the beautiful landscape during the 17th Great Wall of China Marathon
2018.
