The 19th Great Wall of China
Marathon 2020 postpones to October 25,2020(March 16,2020)
Dear all the world runners,
The situation in China has been becoming well as each day goes
by,most factories and stores are in the normal operation,and the
scenic spots are opening to the tourists,and the students are first
going back to school also from March 16,2020,and we are working hard
for the opening of the Great Wall of China Marathon(GWCM) 2020 and
the Roof of the World Marathon(ROWM) 2020,and we are ready for
welcoming the coming of the participants at the end of April 2020.
However,the situation in USA and in Europe are in the drastic change
in the past 7 days,and from March 16,China also begins to impose the
restriction,all the foreign citizens and all the Chinese citizens
who enter Beijing would be quarantined for two weeks at the
designated hotels in Beijing.All these make us into the situation of
Paris Marathon and Boston Marathon.
Therefore,we decide today to postpone the 19th Great Wall of China
Marathon 2020 to Sunday October 25,2020,this is the same day of the
Great Wall of China Marathon 2020-Autumn.And we postphone the Roof
of the World Marathon 2020 to October 14,2020.
For any runners who might not be coming in this Autumn,we would also
use the same method as Tokyo Marathon 2020 that your entry of the
GWCM2020 and the ROWM2020 would be available and valid till the 20th
Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2021 and the Roof of the
World Marathon on May 8,2021.
