Mask and Culture Difference
and Understanding (October
7,2022)
In Asia,two places for border reopening might be the most
significant in October 2022.
Hongkong opens border from September 26,2022,and on October
19,2022,more great good news would come from Hongkong for the whole
world people!
Japan will totally open to the outside world from October 11,2022.
Hongkong is the first city in China open to the world,also the first
gate that is now most easily connecting the whole world people and
the 1.3 billion people in
Mainland China .
It is from February 2020 when the whole world began to close
borders, most of the whole world people get less face to face
exchanges. And for the people of the culture
difference, there could be some misunderstanding.
For example,wearing mask is very common scene in Asian countries
such as Japan even before the pandemic.So for the people who really
care much about mask is not
suggested to go to Japan now.
For the Great Wall of China Marathon in 2020,we gave a mask to each
of the runners in the race packet.
For the Great Wall of China Marathon in 2021,our overseas cooperator
even surprised to ask us you still wear the mask?
For the Great Wall of China Marathon in 2022,both the runners and
the organizers did not wear the mask any more.
Mask is just an example. It is so good that we begin to have the face
to face exchange with the runners,the difference of culture can be
understood more easily as time passes by.
The pandemic really made the runners and the organizers in the very
difficult situation in the past almost three years.
It is so exciting to see that Japan and China in Asia are unlocking
the borders to the world! As for marathon,Beijing Marathon will
happen again after it was cancelled in 2020 and in 2021,and Hongkong
would offer 500,000 free international air tickets to the whole
world people.We are closely copping with this and try to earn the
tickets to the world runners to the Great Wall of China Marathon
2023 and the Roof of the World Marathon 2023.We even start the
campaign with registering one and get two entries as Hongkong is
doing,and we are also looking forward that the runners who were
affected in 2020,2021 and 2022 would come back to China again
,including to Tibet.
