Review about the 22nd Great Wall of China Marathon 2023!(May
9,2023)
The 22nd Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2023 was
successfully held! Thank every runners,thank all the cooperation
companies and thank all the distinguished
team leaders and friends!
The runners at the 22nd Great Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2023
are from 23 countries and Hongkong,they are
Canada,Malaysia,USA,Thailand,Mexico,France,United
Kingdom,Germany,Philippines,Australia,SouthAfrica,Denmark,Mongol, Norway,Belgium,Serbia,Peru,Poland,India,Romania,Colombia,Ireland
and China.
This is the first international marathon party in China indeed after
the 3-year pandemic! There is no marathon race in China that could
held non-stop in 2020,2021 and
2022,we did!We are the only marathon in Mainland China that there is
no stop of the race from the founding year till now! There is no
marathon race in China that could
have the most enthusiasic runners who would very much like to fly
the half globe from USA,Canada and from Europe and from Southeast
Asia to run the race on May
1st,2023 on the Great Wall!
Beijing is the capital city of China,we have overcome all kinds of
difficulties for securing the Great Wall of China Marathon to happen in
the past 22 years!
For example,in 2019,three days before the race,we were informed that
we could not use the Great Wall for the race,because an oversea head
of state would visit the
Great Wall on May 1st,we changed the Great Wall for runners instead!
In 2017,Chinese government would have the most important conference
in Beijing,everywhere were
highestly controlled,we had the Great Wall of China Marathon
2017-Autumn!
The 21st Great Wall of China Marathon 2022 should be the most
difficult year in Beijing,and about 20 runners could not come for
the race,we are very happy to see that some of them came and realized their dream finally on May 1st,2023! And in
2023,three registered runners could not come for the race,all your
entries are valid,as we wrote that your entry will be permanently valid,you
can come for the Great Wall of China Marathon 2023-Autumn on Sunday
October 29,2023 or the 23rd Great
Wall of China Marathon on May 1st,2024 or any of your convenient

By the way,for the Roof of the World Marathon runners,one told us he
would come to run in 2024 and for another one,the race date for him
has not been decided yet,you are as the runners
of Great Wall of China Marathon,always in our mind! Your entry is
also permanently valid till at your proper time!
On May 5,2023,the World Health Organization(WHO) declared an end to
Covid-19 as a public health emergency! Actually on April
28,2023,China announced no PCR Test
required for entering China! China is completely open to the world!
And we have been putting all our hearts on every runners,most
runners might not know that we issued
the official documents in March and in April for some runners to apply visa to China at
the Chinese Embassies and Consulates in their countries.They got the visa to China very successfully for the 22nd
Great Wall of China Marathon on
May 1st,2023!

The Great Wall of China Marathon 2013-Autumn on Sunday October
29,2023 would be another big marathon international race party! And
you would also see Japanese runners
at the race after the past three years!We welcome you all from any
countries and from any corner of the world!
